This little kitchen I made for my little girl a couple of years ago.

A great diy kitchen! I cant wait to blog about her playhouse we are finishing up soon!

Audrey’s Little Kitchen

After some research on Pinterest and alot of thinking I decided to make Audrey a lil kitchen! I really wanted it to be unique and something she could grow into. So we had a nightstand that we use in her closet to store things that I wanted to use but it was too tall for her to reach the top at the time so I asked my mom (the best ever at diy projects) if she had anything I could use and she had this vintage phone table. I thought it would be great because she can use the lower part for her play cooking and we can add legs when she gets too tall for it (not far from needing the legs now)! :) First thing I did was looked around the house. I am married to a save everything kind of brilliant man! So best place to start is the garage! Found 1 knob and the other 3 my mom had she gave me. Then I remember that I had been saving our coffee containers to use again for something and thought the lids would be great for the burners/cooking eyes. The chalkboard I already had from when I made her Diaper Wreath for hospital door. The paint is a white paint that we already had from painting cabinets in laundry room. Black paint is some acrylic paint had on hand. So only thing that was purchased was stickem hooks- about $2.00 and the drawer knob from Home Dept- about $2.75. So Audrey’s whole kitchen cost around $5!! Now Im not saying that it will cost anyone this much to make it depending on what details you would like but there really is always something you can REUSE that you already have! Plus it makes it more fun!
So I was gonna wait for my husband to sand and paint and help me work on this because he is a better painter but being ME I got impatient and he had a really busy week at work so during baby girls naptime got the baby monitor and got started!

This is what I started with. First was sanding and priming it. Just used a can of spray paint primer from walmart that we already had.

All painted and ready for folgers coffee lids. I hand painted the oven part (not the best could have been straighter) Sorry some of the pictures came out blurry.
The coffee lids I screwed down. Gotta find something to cover screws with.
Next I put the knobs and handle on and got her pots and pans ready. Making some eggs right now. :)
Almost Complete!!!
All Done and Audrey loves her kitchen!!

He is here!!!

Hudson Andrew has made his arrival on April 15th! Yes tax day! This labor took 16 hours ish and epidural def wore off there at the end but he is here and healthy and that's what matters right?!

He is sleeping at night pretty good. Sometimes about 4 to 5 hours which worries me so usually wake him to eat but he falls back asleep but hey I'll take even 4 straight hours. That's like 8 compared to up every two hours. Wiggly monkey Audrey is not doing well on naps or bedtimes sometimes.  Occasionally and I mean by Occasionally I mean almost never reading her books to her works but thinking will get better!

Back to potty training this week! We have chart and big girl pants just gotta get back to it. Expect results meaning stickers on this chart soon! ;)

That's all for now :D

Potty Training and Sciatic Pain

Potty training is easy thats what I have heard but these people do not have my 2 and a half year old! She is doing good, gotta give her that but she doesnt completely know if she is ready to only potty on the potty. I really have alot of patience with her, not with anything else but with my kids its amazing how much God has given me and Im so thankful for the patience. I really think by 3 we will have this potty thing down pat! Say a prayer please :)

I am 35 weeks and literally counting down the days til we meet our sweet baby boy, Hudson. Audrey is talking alot more about baby brother and I cannot wait for them to be together! Got bags packed, plans for Audrey to stay with my mom and dad, and just waiting, ohhhhhhh yeah and also have major back pains that have been running down my leg. Had them with Audrey but they were more intense. They think he is laying on a nerve sometimes which is causing the pain. Few braxton hicks. Crazy low blood pressure last few days but it has gotten a little more normal and theres my vent! Do you know what I mean when I say I am ready to have him but not? He is protected right now in my belly and I am enjoying every little movement and kick and then HELLO Hudson here is the crazy world! No worries though this momma will still be protecting him as long as I can.
My Hubby, Chad took some maternity pics of me. This is from 33 weeks, much bigger belly now! ;)

Gonna Be A Big Baby Boy

Blogging for me is not something that I am used to just because writing is not something I'm used to but I do like to talk soooo.... Here it is! I'm in my last trimester and last weeks! Seems unreal how fast time has flown by with my second pregnancy. We had our second ultrasound last week and Hudson is measuring a week ahead just like his big sister. So most likely looking atleast 9lbs :/ Audrey was 9.2 lbs and 21 1/2 inches long so we shall see! Here is our lil guy.
We think he is handsome :D

They think he is somewhere around 6 lbs right now and my due date is April 19th but looking more like the week before. Im so ready to meet our lil man, but really want him to stay cozy til he is ready.

We have really been talking baby brother up to Audrey and when I say you want a baby brother she says "Okay" like I just asked if she wanted a to color. Hmm.. ha well I know she will love him so much and I'm interested to see what the 2 and a half year gap will be like :)

Today Chad had to close so we went out to my parents house. Audrey destroyed play area in about 2.5 seconds, but she had a blast and my parents are awesome and let her have fun!

Plan was to clean the house when we got home because I knew nap would be happening for her but ended up playing on my phone and snacking. :/ yeah not a productive day at all but there's always tomorrow :)

Are pants optional?!

Well our Audrey Loo really dislikes wearing pants and I mean majorly breaks down about it. For being two she doesn't break down too too often but when she does its not good and pants make her angry. Night time will only wear nightgowns or shirt with diaper. Well night time not big big deal but when we have to go uptown its a major deal. I blame the disney princesses, they never have pants on and Audrey has noticed. Really looking forward to spring/summer so she can wear her skirts more but until then......... Fits before we leave the house :/

Yeah loves chickfila food but not the cow, plus still mad about her pants. Lol poor baby

Last Trimester = Sleepless Nights

Well it seems the day I started my third trimester I have tossed and turn. No doubt due to a full bladder and Hudson is extra active at night. He really is a little ninja! Audrey hasnt been sleeping well either :( Good thing is I have been napping when Audrey naps but her naps have been very and I mean very off lately. Working on getting her schedule back on track and potty training! Woo hoo! Yeah its been most interesting and I do believe she does not like her potty. Its green and looks like a frog and she calls it monster! So we are headed to let her pick out her own potty this week and hoping will help! Not to mention trying to potty train with a basset hound in the house is extremely hard. His nose is out of control! Oh well it will happen.

My sleepy haired angel :)
